We are happy to accept all levels of riders from complete novices to advanced riders and ages from 4 years old and up.
As we are busy during this time of year it is advisable to book your trek at least 3 days in advance to avoid disappointment.
All the trek times are only available in July/August.
When booking a deposit will be required. In the event of you not being able to come to your trek.
Deposits are non refundable if you are over the weight you have booked in at therefore it is essential you weigh yourself accurately.
Bare in mind this is your weight fully clothed!
When booking it is important to provide us with the heights, accurate weights and experience levels of all wishing to go out. This will allow us to match horses with riders. Due to the selection of ponies we have at the Centre we have to strict weight limit of 14 stones (89Kg, 196lbs).
All treks go at the pace of the least experienced rider and will generally be at walking speed.
As well as providing treks the Centre has incorporated a craft shop, operated by Christu Arts, selling a wide range of products including knitwear, jewellery and pottery, all made on the Isle of Skye. The shop also provides Coffee, Tea, Soft Drinks, Snacks and Home Baking.

We are located on the Isle of Skye, the largest of the Scottish Inner Hebrides, half way between the island's “capital” Portree and the home of the Clan McLeod in Dunvegan at a wee place called Suladale. We are co-located with the The Isle of Skye Trekking Centre. This is the only centre offering horse trekking on the Isle along with livery and lessons.
